Pioneering designer Louis Cartier imagined the Tortue watch, a tortoise-inspired shape, in 1912. At a time when all watches were round, the groundbreaking design went on to become a classic. Cartier offers both ladies’ and men’s models in a full range of styles, available in gold, at times set or fully paved with diamonds.

Tortue watch, small model, Manufacture manual winding mechanical movement, caliber 8970 MC. Case in 18K rhodium-finish white gold set with brilliant-cut diamonds, octagonal crown set with a brilliant-cut diamond. Silvered sunray effect flinqué dial. Sword-shaped hands in blued steel. Mineral glass. Strap in shiny fuchsia-pink alligator skin. Case dimensions: 30 mm x 24 mm. Case thickness: 7.3 mm. Water-resistant to 3 bar (approx. 30 meters/100 feet).
